Inclusion, Diversity, Equity
Special Olympics Virginia uses the power of sport as a catalyst for inclusion and acceptance. We believe athletes, families and volunteers’ dedicated involvement in the movement helps them not only achieve their personal bests but also demonstrates a commitment to their communities. In order to uphold excellence and fulfill this vision, we must be committed to recruiting and including a diverse group of leaders, staff and volunteers. The Inclusion and Diversity Team will monitor, educate and support activities that ensure Special Olympics Virginia remains focused on its core values of respect, inclusion and unity.
